SANTA CRUZ AND ISABELA ISLAND (FULL DAY) – 5 DAYS
ITINERARY DAY BY DAY:
Day 1: BALTRA – SANTA CRUZ – CHARLES DARWIN STATION.
Departure to the Enchanted Islands, arrival at Baltra airport, welcome by our guide accredited by the National Park, transfer to Santa Cruz Island and accommodation at the hotel. In the afternoon after lunch we will visit the Charles Darwin Station and the Interpretation Center of the Galapagos National Park where we can see the giant turtles and land iguanas. Return to the hotel.
Day 2: TORTUGA BAY BEACH – RANCHO PRIMICIAS – LAVA TUNNELS.
In the morning we will visit the beautiful Tortuga Bay Beach, unique in the world for its scenery. We can see marine iguanas and other endemic species, return to the hotel. After lunch we will visit the Rancho Primicias where you will find «giant turtles» in their natural habitat, and to finish this adventure, hiking through an amazing lava tunnel. Return to the hotel.
Day 3: ISABELA ISLAND FULL DAY
Early morning, meet in the lobby of your hotel for pick-up, before navigating to Isabela Island, a travel of approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes. Upon arrival visit Los Humedales, the Breeding Center and Concha Perla Beach for swim and snorkel experience. Later, visit Las Tintoreras, a small island located south of Puerto Villamil. This bay is surrounded by turquoise water, where you can see several marine animals such as turtles, boobies, sea wolves, iguanas, etc. Your bilingual guide will be with you for assistance from start to finish for full explanation of interest points and activities.
Day 4: LAS GRIETAS – SALT MINES – GERMAN BEACH
The tour begins visiting the Channel Sharks and continues with the Love Channel, a visit to the German Beach and the salt mines and finally a refreshing swim in the amazing Las Grietas. Return to the hotel.
Day 5: TWIN CRATERS – TRANSFER OUT
Early in the mornign we will visit the Twin Craters, these are fantastic volcanic formations where you can see the lush vegetation of the islands. Then we have the transfer to the airport.
