The salinity and piquancy are already exciting yet still nervous and youthful—this should be an extremely buoyant Auslese in 20 years
satisfying Bordeaux should be drunk over the coming decade
A slightly more refined nose speaks of red berry fruit that is liberally laced with notes of cassis and blue berry while introducing rich and even more elegant medium-bodied flavors that culminate in a firm

Silver Heights, Emma's Reserve Size:6x750ml The salinity and piquancy areFull bottle a heavy 1,645 g. 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 50% Merlot. Emma Gao's top red. Luscious, subtle mature ruby. Lightly resinous nose and very pleasing, ripe, bordeaux blend nose. Clean and surprisingly fresh for a 15% wine, with light leafiness. Sweet start, no shortage of fresh acidity, this is really very creditable. Just the sort of wine to give to people doubtful about whether China can produce decent wine. Long and very respectable indeed.
