The knockout nose
This brilliant wine is one of the best new breed Tuscan reds I have tasted
Note that my predicted range offers some benefit of the doubt though what is clear is that the underlying material is not at the standard displayed by the Richebourg
shedding any monolithic tones you might expect of a wine of this depth and persistence
Te Mata, Coleraine Vintage:2015 The knockout noseThe oak is a little obvious on both nose and palate now, but there is plenty of concentration and depth to the dark fruit character. Rich and intense with some great spicy notes, there is enough acidity and depth for this to develop for a number of years.
