and the smaller flowers to the sides look like little bells--producing imagined dings that seems just the sound to accompany metallic foil

Which is much of why I like them! Also, when I first looked at them, the way their arms are positioned and bodies tight against one another, I thought they were conjoined twins! Such excellent expressions on their faces, and very excellent ringlets and outfits too. With hand pinked cheeks, c. 1870s early 80s I believe. 3 9 16" x 2 7 16". Very good condition. A. H.
