Unlike a flatbed scanner, a Coolscan scans the film directly not through glass for maximum detail. Scan resolution is up to 4000dpi. Fully tested, this scanner includes the SA 21 slide adapter, MA 21 negative strip feeder, USB cable and power cord. This scanner does not include software. It works with Vuescan, but you will need to buy Vuescan separately.
