descending from early American settlers Aquila Chase II and Thomas Chase of Chesham England

and the green over creamy white glaze is just lovely

H Adair of Spring Grove, PA, who signed a few of them and dated a couple 1905. These are the sorts of drawings that get me excited; I couldn't snatch them up fast enough pure joy, and you may know by now I've a special fondness for naive bird drawings, all the better identified with a title, and carrying a fish in mouth!
