Agave lechuphantha Amorphophallus along with a leafy tendrilThis century plant offering comes from seed we purchased as Agave lechuguilla, but upon growing the plants, it was obvious these were actually hybrids between Agave lophantha and Agave lechuguilla hence the hybrid name, Agave x lechuphantha. The large, fast growing rosettes are composed of shiny green leaves, each banded with a central chartreuse stripe. The leaf backs are adorned with small vertical flecks from the Agave lechuguilla parent. We
