Paeonia lactiflora can be found naturally from 1,000' 7,000' elevation in China, Korea, Mongolia, and Russia. For us, Paeonia lactiflora makes a stunning plant in our garden with large numbers of single pink flowers highlighted by a large central ball of yellow stamens, starting in late April (NC).
